Update 6-1-2020

Dear Family members and Friends,

As you are aware, the first round of testing completed last week identified a Resident in our Assisted Living who tested positive for COVID-19 as well as two residents in our nursing unit.  We also received a positive result for one staff member.

We continue to assess our Residents each shift with vital signs, temperatures and pulse oximetry. The second round of testing was completed this week and results are pending.  We want to assure you that you and your loved ones will continue to be informed throughout this process.

We thank you and your loved ones for your patience as we continue to do our best to keep everyone healthy and comfortable during this time.    We are grateful to have staff who are dedicated and committed to keeping our residents safe and for continuing to compassionately care for those who rely on us during this unprecedented time.

Please note that “window visits” are now taking place through the glass is in a different area of the building.  This is in an effort to contain movement and flow on the specific units.  We appreciate your cooperation while we navigate every effort to keep residents and staff safe during this pandemic.

Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or concerns as this process moves forward. We know this is a lot of information and again we will do our best to keep you fully informed as we proceed.

Thank you
